Meet Our Staff

A proud Riverhead alumnus, Coach Parker developed his passion for basketball while watching and learning from the many outstanding Riverhead teams that helped shape the program’s rich tradition. Those experiences inspired his love for the game and laid the foundation for his coaching philosophy.

Known for his strong leadership, organization, and commitment to excellence, Coach Parker has assembled a dedicated coaching staff that shares his vision for developing student-athletes both on and off the court. He believes that success starts with surrounding players with positive role models, knowledgeable coaches, and a culture built on accountability, discipline, and teamwork.

Coach Parker embraces the challenge of building a program from the ground up. He is passionate about establishing a winning culture, creating lasting traditions, and shaping young men into leaders through hard work, character, and perseverance. His mission is not only to build successful basketball teams but also to develop young men who carry those lessons beyond the court.

Coach Kai has built his life around his passion for basketball and developing student-athletes. A Center Moriches High School graduate, he was part of a Long Island Championship team before returning to his alma mater as a coach for eight years. During that time, he helped lead the program to four consecutive Long Island Championships and multiple New York State Final Four appearances.

He later spent three seasons coaching at Westhampton Beach High School, helping build a successful program that captured a league championship and produced two consecutive winning seasons.

While proud of his accomplishments on the court, Coach Kai values the relationships, memories, and lasting impact created with each student-athlete. His mission is to help players grow both as basketball players and as individuals.

Coach Grace brings a championship mindset and winning pedigree to LI Legacy Basketball. As both a player and coach at Greenport, he helped lead the program to the Final Four, giving him valuable experience in building successful teams.

Currently serving as Greenport’s JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant, Coach Grace is passionate about developing young athletes through fundamentals, accountability, and teamwork. With his son in the program, joining the LI Legacy staff was a natural fit.

Known for his calm demeanor and steady leadership, Coach Grace is a calming presence who helps players stay confident, composed, and focused in every situation.
